Good luck and Bristol Young Heroes
I know I mentioned this in my last blog, but I want to say again that I wish lots of luck to those of you who will be taking tests and exams in the coming weeks. I hope your revision is going well and that you are getting plenty of rest and relaxation to keep you calm and focused. It’s important that you do your best – no one can ask more of you than that.
Have you heard about Bristol Young Heroes awards? The 2017 awards have now been announced. The awards celebrate young people who are changing the world for the better.
Anna Klonowski, the Chief Executive of Bristol City Council, attended the awards ceremony and she said: “The event was a great reminder that, whether they work across the city or within the council, young people have huge potential to make Bristol a great place to live, work and play - and the awards are proof of just how far that passion can go.”
I am so proud to see that a couple of young people in care have won. Many congratulations to them, and to all the other winners!
You can find out about the winners at http://www.bristolyoungheroesawards.co.uk/
Wishing you all a very happy and successful term.
