Here we are at term 6!

So, here we are again at the start of term 6. That means another school year will soon be over. I’m sure yours has been just as busy as the one we have had at The HOPE.

I know that many of you will still be taking exams at the moment. Everyone at The HOPE is thinking of you and we wish you the best of luck for them.

Some of you will have finished your tests and that’s a great feeling isn’t it? Good luck for when you get your results.

Life in The HOPE continues to be interesting and busy. We are really pleased to have Hattie Billsberry, our KS3 Education Advocate, back from her maternity leave this term. Katherine Juniper, The HOPE’s Inclusion & Participation Lead, has now started her maternity leave. Leanne Bishop, who is our KS2 Education Advocate, has taken on Katherine’s job whilst Katherine is off and we have managed to recruit someone to cover Leanne’s role. He will start in September so we’ll tell you more about him then.

We heard a lovely story recently about one of our young people who wants to be a pilot. His story was shown on the BBC and an ex RAF engineer got in touch to offer him a flight in his light aircraft! He had a fantastic time flying over Wiltshire.

Whether you are up in the air or on the ground, I hope you enjoy the term ahead.
