Happy 2019-20 school year!

Happy 2019-20 school year!

Hello and welcome back to the start of another school year!

I hope that you all enjoyed the Summer and are feeling ready for the start of school or college.

The HOPE has some news about our staff team to let you know about. First of all, Ian Hutton has joined us as our temporary KS2 Education Advocate. Ian started on 2nd September and he is looking forward to meeting as many of you as he can.

Rachel Cox, our Business Support Assistant, has left to study to become a secondary English teacher. We think Rachel will make a great teacher – look out for her as she may do some of her teacher training in Bristol schools.

That means we are without a Business Support Assistant at the moment so we will be even busier than ever this term. Hopefully, we will find a good replacement for Rachel soon.

We are still collecting the results from the Summer exams. We’d love to hear how you got on, so please get in touch or ask your carer to let us know. We know there are lots of good news stories for HOPE students which is great.

If you need any advice about your education, do remember there are lots of people to help you. Don’t be afraid to speak to a member of  school staff, your carer and/or your social worker, or give us a call at The HOPE on 0117 90 36282.

I hope you settle in really well and have a very happy term one!

Rachael Pryor

The HOPE Headteacher
