hey everyone,
okay, sooo basically, our council members, the workers and I took a weekend trip to the forest of Dean:):) it was pretty fun, we ended up getting a little bit lost in the forest, eating too much food and making a horror movie! I was woken up by the others to take part after I'd gone to bed. Not happy :@
We have all been pretty busy on the CiCC. We've had meetings with managers and a few members of our council, including myself were filmed for a dvd on college green by ITV people. It will be given out to those adults interested in fostering children like us. We spoke about our experience of being a child in care, and what it has been like for us, positive and negative :):) that was also pretty fun.

Tasha, Big Josh and Little Josh - who isn't really little, he's just littler than big Josh met with the IRO lady manager and are thinking about making a film which will help people understand what its like to have reviews. The rest of the CiCC are working on a welcome to care letter that we can send out to people when they first come in to care so that they don't feel so scared. Dan (my brother) has been working with care leavers on a training project which I dont know a lot about but its called 'In Our Shoes' and it seems to be going well - I'll ask him to blog all about it soon.
so yeah, busy busy :):) but before I go - one more thing. We want more of you involved in the CiCC so if you've been thinking about joining then now is the time to CALL UP AND ASK! We'd love to meet you
