I hope you have all settled in to the new school year and are enjoying yourselves as well as working hard!
Great news - the pupils of The HOPE did really well in last year’s exams and the results were better at almost every key stage. Well done to you all!
The HOPE student council met last week and we talked about the results and thought about ideas to try to help our pupils to do even better because children who are not in care are doing better than The HOPE’s pupils. We know that you are just as able as other young people, so we want to look at what can be done to help you do even better.
We will have more news on this early next year because the student council will be talking about it again at their next meeting. If you have any ideas about what anyone can do to help The HOPE’s pupils do even better at school, please email Bev Leeson and she will add them to the list.
The HOPE student council also discussed how to get a logo for the school. They decided we should have a competition so plans are being made to organise that. Keep visiting this site to find out how to enter!
If there is something about education that you would like The HOPE student council to know about or discuss, please email Bev Leeson and she will let the student council members know.
If you want help and aren’t getting it then ask your carer or social worker to let the ECLAS team know or email Bev Leeson.
Enjoy the rest of term and do let me know if you are in a concert or school play as I would love to come if I can!
