Want something to read?

 Give me something to read!

If you are in care and you live in Bristol then you should get the R-Voice magazine. It is sent to all children and care leavers and most social workers and foster carers. It is packed full of stories, articles and things of interest to all children in care, as well as useful information and upcoming events.

There used to be one magazine that went out 3 times a year but the first thing the Children in Care Council did was ask for the magazine to be separated; one for teenagers and care leavers, and another for primary school children. Now, thanks to their input there are now 2 magazines that come out twice a year. A spring edition in March/April and an autumn edition in September/October.

Can I get involved?

We are always looking for fascinating people to interview, works of fiction and poetry -and we will consider any article. If you're looking for a quick way of seeing your hard work in print, or telling your story then this is the magazine for you. In previous issues we've had everything from recipes, to artwork published. The magazine is designed by children for children and we want you to be part of it.

We always want to hear from you; so if you have something you'd like to see in print you can contact  james@reconstruct.co.uk with your idea and we'll send someone out to interview you or make you into one of our roving reporters.

Remember; it's your magazine, so get in touch!
