At 2009’s One Big Fun Day ECLAS had a stall where young people were asked to write a post it saying one thing they were proud of this year and in return received a book. ECLAS will be doing the same this year.
Often a social worker or carer or teacher will tell the Virtual School Head about an achievement by a young person. Pippa (the headteacher) then writes to them to say “well done”.
If you are involved in the “My Maths” project you will know you receive vouchers as a reward for completing a set number of sessions. If you are not already involved ask at your PEP!
For the past 4 years ECLAS has invited all the year 11s gaining 5 or more A* - C GCSEs out for a celebratory meal.
Everyone deserves to be rewarded and their achievements celebrated. In the new PEP form there will be lots of opportunity to recognise all the great things you do in and out of school.
