Smoking facts for teenagers

Smoking in teenagers is really common. In 2009, 29% of secondary school students had tried smoking and 6% of teenagers were regular smokers and girls were more likely to smoke than boys.

 

We’ve all heard of this risks of smoking: cancer, heart attacks and strokes but what else? NHS choices says if you’re smoking now get ready for stained teeth, wrinkly skin and a £40,000 bill!
