So what is a review then?
The answer is quite simple. When you are in care people have to check that plans that have been agreed are happening, this happens at your review. Your Review is also an important meeting where more plans can be made and changes recommended about how you are looked after or how your needs are being met. Its really important that you are at or contribute to your review so that your social worker and Independent Reviewing Officer (IRO) knows what you think.
One way of making sure that IROs and everyone else at your review knows what you want is by doing a 'Your Review' form. This form asks you some questions about your views, wishes and feelings, and can help the IRO to make sure that the adults at your review meeting listen to you. Try and finish the 'Your Review' form in time for you to meet your IRO before your review, so you can go through it together.
