My Personal Education Plan

A Personal Education Plan (PEP) forms part of your care plan and is a record of how the local authority plans to educate you and help you to learn stuff. It is reviewed when your care plan is reviewed at your LAC review.

You are the most important person at your PEP meeting and all the important adults who help you with school things should also be there.

How to spend your Pupil Premium funding should be one thing that is talked about at your PEP meeting. The money has to be spent to help you do the best you can in your education.

The LAC Pupil Premium is £2300 and will be available to all children and young people in care between the ages of 5 and 15 from the first day of coming into care.

There are primary, secondary and post 16 PEP forms. Follow this link to find whichever PEP form you need.
