A boarding school is a special type of school where the pupils stay overnight. Sometimes they can stay at weekends as well. There are members of staff who live at the school too and it can be a lot of fun to live in the same place that you have your schooling. Most boarding schools have lots of activities for young people to get involved with and most only take children over the age of 11.
