R-Voice, NCS and getting ready for exams or tests
I really enjoyed reading the latest R-Voice magazines. I hope that you have received your copy – do let your social worker know if you haven’t.
One of the articles I liked was in the Teen magazine. It was the views of three young people on their experience of taking part in the National Citizens Service (NCS) last year. All the young people had such a great time and really benefited from the experience which was so nice to hear.
The HOPE will be sending information to carers about NCS for the Summer 2017 programme and other things you can get involved with and we will put information on this site too, so look out for all of that in the next month or so.
Lots of you will be thinking about and studying for exams and tests now. Remember there is lots of support available, so ask if you need any help or are worried. Your school, carer, social worker and The HOPE will all be able to suggest ideas. Plus, ChildLine have produced a short booklet about beating exam stress which has tips on revision and on looking after yourself. You can read it here.
I wish you all a happy and successful term.
